2.4.3 Beam inputs button group: Overview

When working with beam inputs, users can move between the different inputs using the navigation buttons on the ribbon bar. Relevant help messages are displayed in the right hand area of the screen when the user hovers over an input. Warning and error messages are displayed on the bottom right of the screen if the user enters invalid inputs. The middle area of the screen allows the user to review and change the relevant inputs.

Typically for a new beam, the user visits the beam inputs by clicking the buttons on the navigation bar from left to right. Note that some of these buttons are greyed out by default, and they will be activated as the user visits them the left to the right.
