2.3.6        Create Section

The Create Section view can be accessed by clicking on image or image  buttons displayed on the section definitions table. The create section view allows users to modify the selected section properties. The user has the option to choose between a standard section (UB or UC), or a non-standard section defined by its dimensions or its properties. Each section in the project must have a unique reference which cannot be repeated or empty. An error message will be displayed if the user tries to use a reference that is already used by another section in the project.

After selecting or defining a section, the data is added to the Sections Definitions table by selecting “Create”.
